Procurement Trainings
A comprehensive training covering the major steps of the procurement cycle, in 4 sessions for a total of 8 hours. The training is very practical and is based on the trainer's personal experience out of real cases:
1- Vendor AssessmentTrainees will learn how to assess any vendor at different stages of the purchasing workflow, prior to asking for a quote, at RFQ level, once the proposal is received, before entering into contract, and after placing an order.
This includes notions of risk management and mitigation measures in order to secure the business transaction, auditing the vendor prior to entering into contract, closely following up on deliveries, etc. Duration is 2 hours. 2- Purchase OrderA deep review of the PO starting with ERP items creation and up to navigating through the different types of POs and how / when to use them.
PO lines, terms and conditions are explained in details, and tips are provided for deciding on when to consider a PO or go for a full contract with the subcontractor. Frame Work Agreements and blanket POs are also covered. Duration is 2 hours. 3- Negotiation TechniqueAll possible ways of destabilizing an interlocutor and winning the negotiation battle are exposed in this workshop which also includes an hour of interaction and exercising.
A structured approach revealing two main methods for succeeding in a negotiation meeting, and their associated tips and tricks. Covers both technical and commercial aspects of a negotiation. Duration is 1.5 hour of a presentation followed by an hour of practice. 4- Procurement ReportsSix reports are exposed and detailed in this section of the training, covering risks, opportunities, planning, profit & loss, productivity, inventories, etc.:
-R&O Matrix -Backward procurement schedule -Minimum stock -Budget monitoring -Buyer’s KPIs -Buyer’s load Duration is 1.5 hours. |
